  • What is the relationship between mindfulness and self awareness?
    Self awareness is mindfulness.
  • Try at least one of the self awareness practices from the chapter (Body Scan, Journaling).
    What was your experience of it? How did you feel?

    In today's Headspace meditation, Andy had me carrying out a Body Scan. I did notice the absence of emotions. However, it is Saturday at the end of two weeks of holidays. I suspect things will be different next time I try it.
  • What did you take away from the "My Emotions are Not Me" section?
    Emotions are things you experience in your body. They do not define you. I liked the metaphor of emotions being like clouds in the sky: some light, some dark; which come and go.
